What do teachers say about this resource? (13086)
This was a very good resource, it covers lots of different life stages and illnesses that could occur with links to health care professionals that could help them. Students are expected to demonstrate their knowledge of these professionals and apply it to individuals in a given scenario. Knowledge of PIES development across all life stages is also good as it covers a variety of different things. I liked the variety of questions, including different life stages and scenarios that vary with the needs of each individual. It enables students to get a clear understanding of what could happen at each life stage and what support may be required. This resource has high educational value as it demonstrates to students different events that could happen across a number of life stages. It requires students to have strong knowledge of different illnesses and professionals and to be able to apply them effectively to key people. It demonstrates links across all 3 learning aims and allows students to draw knowledge from each to apply them successfully. The mark scheme is also well developed with clear understanding of what is required to enable students to achieve top mark band (or full marks) in the higher response questions. This was a really helpful resource and I think will help a lot of teachers to teach the specification with links to similar questions throughout which will help students with their application.
What do teachers say about this resource? (13087)
The resource is very useful and matches the content of the specification. The answer grids were easy to understand for both teachers and students. This resource supports the existing sample papers produced by Pearson. This will allow the students to increase their exam skills and knowledge. This matches well and has sound coverage with enough assessment of breath and depth.
