What do teachers say about this resource? (10313)

A fantastic resource that meets the specification well. The author has clearly put in a lot of effort and time in making sure this resource is suitable to accompany students in their course. Well done to the author for producing an excellent resource. It includes clear and precise definitions of key terms and also easy to follow explanations of the different sections with this specification. It links the topics well to the key philosophers for this specification i.e. Descartes, Russell, Ayer and many more. It also gives excellent arguments for and against specific theories. It has a range of well thought out activities as well as stretch and challenges suited for the higher ability pupils. I really liked the discussion points throughout the resource. This is a great way to break up the content and to also allow students to explore different views on the section. Web links and recommended further reading could be set as homework to enhance students learning outside the classroom.

What do teachers say about this resource? (9765)

An excellent resource. The best resource I have ever used. It follows the syllabus and clearly breaks down some of the key concepts.

What do teachers say about this resource? (9768)

An excellent resource, detailed and clear, and would be a contender as a textbook for the course instead of one of the others on the market [...] Having taught this course for a number of years, and its predecessor courses, I think this resource navigates the territory very well - key ideas, theories, strengths and weaknesses. A good balance is struck on amount of detail. The explanations are clear and readable

D Forster, Philosophy Teacher & Peer Reviewer

Good resource: well-written, useful activities and [lots of opportunites for] stretch and challenge. It can help teachers and students understand content, can help teachers vary their activities during lessons and provides some good insights which will help students with their 25 mark questions
