What do teachers say about this resource? (9611)

A very good addition to the text book ... I liked the exams style questions ... It is easier to read and shorter paragraphs, especially for weaker students ... It matches all the topics covered in the unit

G Zingale, HoD & Customer

Well written. It is chunked into manageable paragraphs and I like the use of exam questions dotted throughout for students to check understanding. Everything within the companion is clear and easy to access. Students could use this for their own revision or as a study guide for independent learning ... I like how there are small tasks interspersed throughout the text as well as exam questions, there are also opportunities to research various elements - this would be great for independent learning! ... enhances learning by providing another opportunity for students to practice exam questions and for them to have an easy to read resource ... It could also be used by teachers to set students if they have missed parts of the course or for flipped learning ... It follows the same sections as the specification e.g. A1, A2 - this enables students to match this to particular lessons that the teacher is teaching. The vocabulary used is the same as the specification - this exposes them to the vocabulary more frequently

F Old, Lead Teacher & Peer Reviewer

A very detailed and well suited resource to the specification of L3 Travel and Tourism, definitely useful as a resource for students to refer to during the teaching of this unit. [I particularly like] the continual inclusion of key terms that students need to be aware of. Lots of data has been integrated and compare to older data to allow students to see how trends have changed. It contains all relevant material for this unit in one location. Great for reference through the course. It is clearly split into the 4 key content areas which makes finding the information required easier. It is clear lots of thought and planning has gone into this content. Which makes this resource well suited for the course.

C Turner, Head of Geography & Peer Reviewer

Well structured and written in an appropriate style and level to suit the learners. Clear explanation and description of the content.
Solid foundations of the theory for the course. Clear definitions of key terms and relevant location examples and events.
There is a good emphasis on key terminology.
