What do teachers say about this resource? (9441)
The resource is very detailed and contains all the major information covered superbly... It then backs up this major knowledge with the information that informs this further and provides a more rounded view according to the spec. I liked the ease of the resource and how it can be accessed. It would work well as a guide for revision or summary questions in a lesson. I feel that the resource serves its purpose well. If pupils can secure their content knowledge through the resource then they will be in a good place to move forwards with their learning and push for the higher level.
Excellent resource for students to be able to be assessed and revise throughout the course. I particularly like the way this resource is set out and very easy to use. The tables / grids makes the resource seem less intimidating to students and more reader and student friendly. This resource could also easily be used for targeting students in their weakest area of the exam topic for personalised learning.
This would be a very useful resource to use in class. It is easy to use and has all of the necessary information in to help prepare students for their exams. It is a very well thought out and presented resource. This resource will enhance learning as it has been designed in a way that is easy to maximise the use of the resource. The resource will help students answer questions and prepare for their exam both with their academic knowledge and reinforcing exam answer techniques.
What do teachers say about this resource? (9440)
The resource is an excellent way to recap key information. It could easily be used as a revision resource either in the classroom or at home. Providing the worksheet and answers to parents it would allow them to support their child outside of the classroom without needing the specific knowledge. The resource covers the specification well. It has questions on all the main criteria and in a simple manner requests an answer off the user. There is some variety in the questions which helps keep it fresh, but to serve it's purpose of providing a quick and easy to understand learning grid I think it works well.
A good resource to support independent learning/revision, after teaching the content. I think this is a resource most students would find engaging and be proactive in using. It is clear, concise, easy to use testing all the necessary information to help prepare students for the exam. The resource is well varied in the way it asks student to demonstrate their knowledge, for example student are asked to sketch the Illinois agility test. The presentation is of a very high standard... clearly been a lot of thought put in to the resource and it has made it an attractive resource to purchase.
This is a very valuable resource to any PE department... Could easily be left as cover work, set for homework or used as part of a summative or formative assessment. There is a lot of different activities designed to really make the students think. The use of higher-order language will push the students aiming for the top grades. The layout and presentation has been very carefully thought about... a really good picture to writing ratio to make the resource engaging and student friendly. I really liked that the page numbers to the Hodder book are indicated at the top of the resources.
