This resource would be excellent for top set classes or for individuals with target grade 9 who need extension tasks or challenging homework tasks. I would definitely recommend this resource and purchase it for my own teaching.

What do teachers say about this resource? (9106)

I think this resource is an excellent addition to any school’s collection. I can particularly see it working well in a booster class for higher achieving students. It contains lots of exam-style practice questions and hints and tips for success.

S Joynes, Teacher and Peer Reviewer

The structure of the resource is excellent. I love the range of activities on offer and the fact that the tasks allow the pupils to use the newly acquired skills in exam style questions which are linked to Edexcel. The pupils can really learn how to successfully attempt exam questions and therefore aim for the highest grade.

In all aspects mentioned it reflects the specification and SAMs. I really like the way the answers are laid out to highlight the features of grammar/vocabulary which are most desirable.

What do teachers say about this resource? (9137)

It is accessible for independent study by students if needed but also could be used in lessons. The way in which it is structured means that it is clear and concise whilst covering some of the most difficult content from the spec. It is clearly laid out and I really liked the format of using grey boxes with hints for each question before they need completing, this makes it very clear and difficult to miss. I also liked the clear way in which grammar and topic are highlighted - this will aid revision and self study.

K Seazell, Teacher of MFL & Peer Reviewer

I like the resource on the whole and can see how it can be used with a small group within a class or independently by students. The format is clear with a good balance between the explanations and the activities. The resource challenges and supports students across the themes and across the skills. It can be used as intervention or as a differentiated activity. It gives additional exam-style tasks to be used which this early in the specification is great.

It will be a very good resource for strong students.
