Differentiated Homeworks for A Level AQA Physics
A wide variety of stimulating and imaginative homework sheets to encourage detailed understanding of Physics. Topic-based tasks actively engage the learner, helping to reinforce the fundamentals and extend thinking.
A very good range of homework which covers the entire specification in Physics
18 varied homeworks for Year 1, and 17 for Year 2, each differentiated for higher and lower ability or with extension activities.
- Reinforce classroom learning and deepen understanding: mind maps, newspaper articles, peer marking, write a tweet, research questions and more…
- Bring Physics to life with original, real-world problem-solving: circuit design, set design, and ‘expert-advisor’ scenarios
- Develop exam skills: practice questions with answers, including exam-style with mark schemes
Ready to use with no teacher preparation – an easy-to-set homework pack to take you through the whole A Level course!

An excellent resource for the new specification for the new AQA Physics. A very good range of homework which covers the entire specification in Physics.
Definitions are tested well and numerical questions are well written.
A valuable resource, with a range of activities that matches the specification well. Some are straight forward activities testing basic knowledge and understanding, some are more challenging, testing the more difficult concepts. Questions could easily be used in class or for homework.
I like that there are at least 2 versions of each homework to allow for differentiation. I like that there are different activities like drawing a comic strip or true/false statements to complete.
I think this enhances learning because it assesses the basic concepts that students need to know and then extends those concepts further. It includes applications and calculations needed at each stage. The educational value of this resource is that it clearly covers all specification points, so you can track that students have covered everything that they need to know and if they have completed these they should have a sound understanding of the concepts covered.
Very useful. Aimed at the correct level with interesting tasks. It gives students the opportunity to apply their knowledge and practise their longer written responses and research skills. It also asks students to apply their knowledge which is a key skill for A level. This resource is excellent.
Good - Very well organised.

Great idea - I think teachers will like the topic by topic style and the two levels of challenge presented in this resource. All areas of the compulsory A2 AQA spec are included.
There are lots of experimental design type questions and there are those which require use of logs which will help to embed paper 3 and practical skills knowledge. This resource is good for the review of a chapter- possibly prior to an assessment, or as follow up after a test- targeting a students weaker areas. Dividing it up by question type is useful for the same reasons- if you want shorter pieces of work, particular sections could be set.
A good and well thought out resource for A level Physics Year 2. Different styles of questions are given such as graphical and numerical types and multiple choice given. Can assist teachers with homework, also if teacher is absent from class. Can also stretch good students with additional work. Checks on learning of more difficult topics such as Circular Motion and SHM in year 2. The resource matches the AQA A level Physics specification very closely with questions on the topics Further Mechanics such as SHM and Circular Motion, Fields, including Magnetic, Gravitational and Electric.
