What do teachers have to say about this resource? (6857)
Outstanding resource, really usable with a class. I can see this being a valuable resource to give to students to help with their revision and also as a task to prepare for revision with the filling in activities. Really detailed and well thought through... The educational value is principally as an aid to revision for students, so could simply be photocopied and given to them, but also the ones that can be filled in would make for good revision lessons in class and for recaps from topics covered some time before for the mocks... Well presented, jazzy and eye-catching and very professional. I have made similar types of resources myself but they have not looked anywhere near as professional as these and for the time it would take this would be a good investment of money. – E Hodkinson, Teacher and Independent Reviewer
"An excellent resource that has helped students to improve their knowledge retention through low-stakes testing each lesson. Enables students to see what language/concepts/terminology is upcoming and is set out in student-friendly manner. Good value for money." J Haston, HoD and Satisfied Customer

"Makes planning and revision lessons very straight forward; allows coverage of whole topics in a time effective manner. East to use and puts the emphasis on the student working independently. Great for homework and cover, supporting new staff and revision." C Cotterill, HoD and Satisfied Customer
What do teachers have to say about this resource? (6859)
It would be useful as end of topic reviews, say before a unit test, to prepare students for a revision session or to give to aid revision... They have a great deal of educational value. – E Hodkinson, Head of RS and Independent Reviewer
What do teachers have to say about this resource? (6856)
This is an excellent resource... the presentation is excellent, I think my students would really appreciate using it as a revision aid and I like the mind map style. – E Hodkinson, Head of RS and Independent Reviewer
"These resources are fantastic. I really liked the concept of gathering all the key information on one sheet of paper for each, cutting the unit into 4 easy-teach sheets. This would make a fantastic revision resource... I would utilise this by giving each pupil a copy at the end of each unit / provide them with a little booklet that has all of the relevant topic sheets for the course that I have chosen... I really liked how the resources look visually... I liked how different text / key words/ concepts etc have been placed in different formats, boxes... very engaging, well thought out and neatly presented. This would certainly appeal to my higher end pupils, especially the logically minded and a large proportion of girls that I teach. It was easy to read, the quotes used were relevant and topical and there were some good use of small images to link to key concepts which would aid learning... These are high quality revision tools, and fantastic classroom wall displays. I would be really confident that most of my pupils (especially the C-A* pupils) would really be able to utilise these to its full potential and gain from the links made within the resources. It would certainly go hand in hand with the lessons I have been developing and would be able to utilise them for that specification... very useful revision resources that will really help pupils connect key concepts, teachings and linking to debates... I think they have lots of mileage and will prove to be invaluable for both teacher and pupils (and also for parents to help pupils see the links and connections when revising)." – A Jones, Head of RE & Independent Reviewer
"A good resource [that] would be useful for all teachers of this specification. The resource provides a useful summary of the main points for the two parts of the theme. As each part fits onto one page this could easily be used with students or enlarged as suggested to go on the wall. If all the summaries were purchased they could be used for revision at the end of the course... There were a number of things that I like about the resource: The language used was appropriate for the level and would be accessible to all ability levels; key words are bold to highlight important words; useful quotes; tables of information to show reasons for / against... This enhances learning or helps learning as this could be used in different ways throughout the year. This could easily be used with revision activities or an example to help students create their own summary sheet... As a tool this could used to support students when completing written tasks or practice questions by allowing them to see summaries of key points. These could then be used to help them pick out the correct information to answer the questions, or used in planning to answer questions... Information is summarised and set out in short bits / boxes to allow the information to be broken up. Different types of styles are used to try to show the different information clearly. I like the use of ticks and crosses on page three abortion... The areas in the summaries match the specification and cover all key aspects. The resource covers the main knowledge required for this course gives and gives key words that are needed to be understood." – A Walmsley, RE Teacher & Independent Reviewer
What do teachers have to say about this resource? (6855, 7130)
I think this is a brilliant resource, it's detailed, really well presented and really easy to use. It contains all the necessary information and gives plenty of relevant material. Really useful for revision purposes... a very attractive layout that the students would respond well to... I think it matches the specification very well, I cannot find any area that is not covered, and some have more detail than the AQA endorsed textbook. – E Hodkinson, Teacher and Independent Reviewer
"Good, lots of information with all the main points covered in an appropriate amount of detail... The information was clear and concise... I liked the use of appropriate scriptural references and exclamation marks denoting particularly important points... simplifies some complex issues." – H Kunda, RE Teacher & Independent Reviewer
