An excellent resource with some clear questions and tasks. There is a variety of different stimulus which covers the different aspects of what may come up in an exam that I can’t do myself. Clearly written and a variety. Helps them practice different question types

Excellent resource with clear presentation – easy to use and a variety of question types. It has ‘skills’ questions along with extended writing questions. I like the questions that give a table to fill in; this will help students with their revision. I especially like the hydrograph question
The layout and level of questions is challenging in most areas for my current pupils. This will help classroom teachers establish pupils areas of weakness and staff will be able to fill knowledge gaps from using this as a regular assessment tool throughout the topic

There is a really good range of different styles of questions. In particularly like the more challenging long answer questions that the author is suggesting

Students are able to access questions that are new GCSE style as there is little available and then work through the mark scheme – this helps their understanding greatly. Would highly recommend and have already done so to departmental staff in my local comprehensive. Would also recommend to my local network group

Very clear and excellent resource. I like the ways it is divided into sections ad there is a topic test for each as you can give separately to students. Great that there is a mixture of short, medium + long mark questions. Definitely invest in this pack. I hope to buy other titles for AQA GCSE when I have the budget!
I like the progressive nature of the tests... I like the inclusion of more detailed information and extensions. I would be very likely to link these into day to day lessons to show progress in a lesson rather than use them as summative assessments at the end of the mini topics
Each of the tests follow broadly the specification content in linear order. This means that each test can be issued after a small number of lessons in order to consolidate learning... The resource will enhance learning by enabling students to tackle questions on a regular basis and are very much in line with the expectations of the AQA exam board. The value in the resource is that it can be used by heads of departments to use in more formal end of unit tests or by individual teachers for setting homework
This resource would be very useful in consolidating students learning and assessing the application of knowledge. It would get them more familiar with exam terminology and key terms, as well as the format of a variety of questions. This resource matches the specification perfectly and picks out key elements clearly so the students can track it along with their own checklist
I particularly like that the tests are broken into sections so that you can use them throughout the teaching unit. The idea of an extension test is a new idea and something not offered elsewhere

The resource is well planned and useful for teachers and students alike. Teachers will be able to use these in the form of end of unit assessments or set as homework. Students may be able to use this resource as part of their ongoing revision... I liked the wide use of command words which are all taking from the AQA specification and the appropriate number of marks are attached to each command word depending on their level of challenge
