What do teachers say about this resource? (6608)

The activities are varied and challenging for most GCSE students. There is a good range of different tasks that develop their knowledge and understanding of the different GCSE topics... I most liked the active learning activities and could develop these activities to be used for other topic areas. In particular activity 12 and 21 would be good at involving other students giving them prompts to get started with discussions... It provides the students with the opportunity to apply their learning in different tasks and scenarios. Giving them an opportunity to develop revision skills specifically about a topic encourages them to increase their religious literacy skills... It does well to support the current specifications and in particular looking at the depth of religious knowledge that is to be required for the new specifications... A great resource.

A good and useful document to aid a scheme of work for the new GCSE course... it would be a beneficial tool, in particular for small departments and new teachers to RS... I like the wide variety of ideas, the links made in retention, learning and clear links to many aspects of the new GCSE [as well as] some of the creative tasks and the way it supports revision and also learning. I really liked how some tasks had great depth and also were useful ‘summaries’ of learning that pupils are now expected to make... There are some fantastic and creative ideas here... it matches the challenge and new emphasis on literacy that the new specification brings... Activity 1 – Love this idea. Very concise and really summarises what pupils need to know.
