I really liked the fiendishness of some of the questions which are similar to some of the horrible multiple choice questions I have seen produced for economics by edexcel in the past. Many students learn the material but don’t learn how to use logic to answer the questions which are often set in an awkward or less obvious way to the way they have learned the material... It forces students to THINK more deeply about the concepts they are expected to understand for the exam which is healthy. Having to work things out for yourself is the highest quality form of learning that you can do and making mistakes using multiple choice like this can really help students find out what they do not really know yet. Having this resource is very useful for teachers facing a new specification and only a sample paper and legacy papers to practice on.
