Very helpful. It is direct and has tangible hints and tips for the art educator to be able to carry out the lesson effectively. The ideas are interesting, and it is good to see one topic leading on to another... The worksheets are a good idea for students to keep track of their work and be guided through steps... The topic of portaiture, spanning from the realistic to the imaginative, particularly struck me since it is a good way of helping out students who may feel that realistically they are at a loss. By tapping into the imaginative side, they are encouraged to appreciate the topic more.
A very well thought out and considered resource. Lots of good clear instructions and plans are very straight forward... The lesson plans are aimed towards all levels of learning and the suggestion of homework extensions etc. will ensure that those with greater ability will be able to push themselves further.
