Thoroughly useful and of practical use to a huge number of schools... I liked the well planned and presented assembly ideas as well as the range of different activities/themes. And the fact that it was so thorough and detailed... Ready to use and easy to follow assembly ideas with materials and resources at your fingertips. It is instantly accessible and hits many different auidences and could be readily adapted to suit needs. This will help schools promote and support their ethos and lends itself to providing an interesting and enjoyable way to convey a Christian/religious message through assembly... thoroughly well planned, thought out and presented... A very good, worthwhile resource. I believe this would find a target audience for schools looking for something more than an ordinary assembly.
This resource is a very useful one that has easy to understand messages... fulfils the statutory requirement for an act of worship... I liked the scripted layout, even for the narrator/teacher, this could encourage others who are not confident in participating in assemblies to take a more active part in this part of school life.

Excellent, great ideas that can be used ... I liked the fact that there are several outcomes that a person can take at the end of the assemblies depending on the situation. Therefore each assembly could be used several times for a different purpose ... Allows pupils to thing about other people and situations that they might not find themselves in
The author's way of getting across to this age group is very good... I find the authors style of the prisoner’s dilemma to be very enjoyable for children of key stages 4, lower key stages and adults too

An outstanding idea. It is always good to consider a range of approaches to assembly, which is such an invaluable time but can often be the bain of a HOY life.
