It is an excellent resource which I highly recommend. It is produced by expert geographers and completely focused on GCSE AQA paper 3. - The resource saves time and inspires and engages students. It is completely focused on the AQA Paper 3. Plus: It arrives at a crucial time when staff are feeling under pressure with the GCSE exams slowly creeping earlier each year and so Easter is a crunch time for final past paper questions and revision - staff would be under pressure to create their own resources at such a crucial time. The resource saves time and inspires and engages students. It really engages the students -the hand-drawn style seems more ‘organic’ and aids students engagement. It makes them feel that they could draw something like this so it empowers them to do the same. It helps them to have plenty of resources to get the cogs whirring. The focus on resources that engage students and get them to focus on the discussion and debate is second-to-none. Zig Zag always provides ‘expert’ resources. The resource was excellent and has provided an exceptional level of preparation for our GCSE geographers. A significant effort has been put into souring links and creating activities that will engage our students. It is particularly valuable at such a busy time near the end of the course when staff are busy working with students on revision and past paper marking. It really helps students to engage with the discussion and debate around the chosen topic helping them to understand the place and the issues. This is important because for some students it may be a place they have little knowledge of and so this helps to boost their knowledge, understanding and confidence. This then helps them to engage with the discussion and debate around- and the resources that foster this are clear and well-thought-out. It is clear that experienced and knowledgeable geographers have prepared the resources. This resource is excellent, it will save you time, help you focus on other aspects of preparing students for their forthcoming exams and students will really engage with it.
