What do teachers say about this resource? (12930)
I particularly liked the word searches, matching pairs and gap-filling exercises as well as the chapter by chapter word lists
It would enhance learning by hammering home the basic constructions and the gcse word list. Its educational value could be to stretch the more able by providing extra material, and also to consolidate knowledge as part of a revision programme.
It matches the specification very well following the relevant grammar and syntax and interprets it as much as the parameters of CE allow .
There are a variety of exercises, not always available in old textbooks and the quizzes eg p77/grammar summary p81-3 and particularly the answers are beneficial.
This is a very good resource which teaches grammar in a concise way and which provides plenty of examples for students to practise their skills. It is particularly beneficial to have a similar method right from commencing Latin all the way through to A-Level
The grammar is presented in a clear way to students with enough explanation that they can quickly feel able to tackle basic sentences. The vocab tests at the end are another useful feature to save teachers having to create their own and having the answers for teachers both speeds up the process and helps those who are teaching the language as non-specialists.
