What do teachers say about this resource? (12762)
This resource is excellent. It is so informative... I really liked that there were different examples and they link to different elements of the curriculum both KS4 and KS5. This is really useful in order to see how AI would be applicable to all aspects of the curriculum in Computer Science ... certainly will help teachers be able to prepare specific content that will benefit the students and their abilities, it will allow for targetted learning and enhance the development of the students ... the examples that are being used are excellent. This is really good to see what is happening and how it can benefit being used ... Its a very broad resources covering a number of different topic areas and specifications
This is a very good comprehensive guide for an experienced computer science teacher exploring the implications of AI for their workload. It’s clear and consistently supported with practical examples.
A good range of ideas for using AI tools to support teaching and learning. It is useful to focus on Chat GPT and Gemini which are free and some of the most useful tools available at the moment ... I liked the teaching idea on Page 5 asking students to review the output from the AI and critically analyse it ... Using AI helps teachers to generate more creative learning ideas to change things up in the classroom. It also provides scaffolded activities to help students learn. You can specifically ask Chat GPT to create a scaffolded worksheet for a lesson. You can also save preferences in your settings so that it can refer to these whenever you want a new lesson plan created
It was good for anyone who has not used AI much before, giving them ideas on how AI can be used to support teaching. It also gave me a few ideas on how I can also use AI to support my teaching ... I had not considered ... flowchart creation and mind map creation using AI ... The provision of examples is good to give teachers better ideas on how they can use AI to support their teaching
