Extremely comprehensive and well-written ... a good reference guide for students who want to quickly know what they need for a particular topic, perhaps when faced with past-paper questions ... Use of tables for formalise information is very effective. I also like the "magnifying glass in a box" to illustrate specific points/terminology ... More detailed than some others on the market. I liked this because students can thus be directed to apply literacy skills such as keyword recognition, summarisation, paraphrasing and visualisation when the body of content is available to them. This is where the value is in revision work: having something to engage with, to make an artefact of your own from it ... it could equally be used for first teaching and for revision ... The depth of content is good, so it allows strong students to achieve 9-7 grades.
