What do teachers say about this resource? (10337)

Excellent explanations. Concise and to the point with lots of worked examples that are not found in the main books. Very easy to navigate and lots of opportunities to self assess.
Liked the contents page, which makes it easy to match to specification.
How to use a calculator and rounding up are aspects Biology tutors may overlook so this was good.
Absolutely explains better than the books and the free resources provided on OCR A Maths in Biology section of the website.

I think this is one of the most useful resources I have found for teaching A-level maths concepts to students. The specification and textbook for Edexcel has a section on this but it is not explained well to students. I think this resource is a game changer.
It helps students understand the skills they need to apply. A lot of my students are weak at maths and so they struggle with the basic concepts especially with logarithms and stats tests.
The resource layout was well set out. It explains simply the purpose of each concept.
I like the fact there are examples and exercises for students to complete. I would use these as homework tasks.
