What do teachers have to say about this resource? (1133)
"The resource is excellent as it is AQA specific - there is a vast difference between the examination board syllabuses. The questions are very similar to those the students will have to sit. They are well graduated in terms of level of difficulty and complexity... The wording of the questions is clear and precise. The mark schemes are excellent with clear guidance and precise steps of working. The allocation of marks is useful so students can attempt one part of a question at a time. The papers cover all topics on the syllabus... Students/ teachers can revise topics by continuously practising the papers. This is more useful than rote learning as it consolidates subject knowledge. The mark scheme is very useful as it will guide the students through a solution and hence help their understanding. The allocation of marks is good as it enables students to gauge their level of attainment... It is good to have each paper on just one sheet of A4 as it looks more user friendly... The resource covers all topics evenly. It gives practice on each topic in the specification. The more difficult topics such as Area under Curves or Applications of Max/Min are incorporated into more complex questions, hence preparing the students well for their exam... It is essential practice for A-level students a month or so before their exam... A very useful package... an excellent resource." — M Darlington, Maths Teacher & Independent Reviewer
"A useful tool to help practice for core 1 exams... I like the format of all on one page and the coverage over a series of papers to give a full appreciation of types of questions likely to be asked... Useful to support more formal practice for those lower ability students... Matches the spec well covering all the objectives. It also approaches subjects from different angles." — R Bird, Head of Maths & Independent Reviewer
"The questions are pitched at the right level. The format is clear. The papers being on a single page is excellent and users see exactly how much they have to do... An excellent range of questions with answers is an excellent learning tool. The questions are on a par with exam board levels." — K Taylor, Maths Teacher & Independent Reviewer
