Brilliant. It takes pupils through all aspects of this unit of work through a wide variety of activities that are stimulating, challenging and well-crafted ... It has some ace follow on tasks which keep more-able students engaged whilst others complete the original task ... It keeps my lessons fresh, because it introduces me to new activity ideas that I have not thought about. This keeps pupils happy too! ... It is written specifically for the AQA specification which means there is no redundancy or missing gaps ... A superbly curated resource that provides a plethora of activities for this unit in the specification ... Its definitions section/activity was perfect at providing students with a solid understanding what can be quite foreign/unfamiliar concepts to them ... It provides an excellent resource to keep dipping into as we learn the content of this unit. It provides excellent assessment for learning activities to check pupils' progress ... The variety of activities - there is no sameness or repetition. It means that students avoid monotony ... I found this to be a lifesaver in terms of time both in planning and marking. It kept my lessons stimulating and ensured we covered key parts of the specification ... It is a great match [to] AQA 7152

A perfect activity pack that helps students consolidate their understanding of the PM and Cabinet in a variety of fun ways ... The activities of different forms of responsibility worked well together to produce a good overview highlighting the differences/similarities ... It provides my students with a great set of resources to complete to check how much they are memorising/learning. Giving them the answers also means they can easily check to see where they are making mistakes ... It provides a strong overview of whole unit within the specification - a "one-stop shop". No time is wasted leafing through various resources or creating your own ... I have not regretted spending money on this - it has saved me heaps of time and provided the students with a lot of fun

A very engaging resource which is clearly structured and which provides a clear pathway for students to enhance and build upon their study of this section of the A Level course... It appeals to ALL learner types and provides enough differentiation which would instill confidence in students and build up their approach to answering difficult and challenging questions on the topic... I would definitely purchase this to enhance my teaching.

What do teachers say about this resource? (9826)

It has clearly been put together with a lot of thought and care to ensure pupils cover all the material via a variety of stimulating activities ... The activity plan runs you through which AOs are being assessed and this therefore ensures you are keeping on top of students practicing key exam skills ... The group activity class debate on parliamentary debate was particularly helpful at getting students to really consolidate their understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the process ... It provides you with a clear overview of all the activities so that you can see which AOs are being assessed ... You will see your students really engage in this unit of work and sharpen their exam skills - especially AO2 and AO3 skills

All areas of the AQA specification are closely followed and the overview of the Assessment Objectives provides that extra reassurance that all necessary skills have been addressed. There is a wide range of different activities which would appeal to all learner types with differentiation embedded throughout... The activities are very straightforward to follow and can be used to supplement classroom teaching. It tests a range of different skills which students will have to deploy in an exam... Again, since it follows the AQA specification clearly, it gives teachers and students that confidence that all activities and resources are directly related to the exam. I really like Activity 8 on Burkean Representation... the fact that students will have to act out the views is something which I think will be easy to relate to and remember. The issue of representation is a difficult one and this activity addresses it well...

What do teachers say about this resource? (9825)

It is the ideal resource to use at the start of the A Level. It's myriad of activities helps students to build a strong foundation for the remainder of the course ... The 4th activity looking at the changing importance of constitutional sources provided students with an excellent way to approach a tricky part of the unit ... It keeps students plugged in to the lesson and ensures that the more speedy ones are kept engaged, because you can easily give them another activity to do, whilst other students complete the original activity. Such ease in the midst of a challenging lesson is not to be underestimated! ... It blends exam skills activities and more straightforward activities in such an engaging and accessible manner ... You will not regret this resource - I have found no other resource that provides activities that cover the whole unit and all three AOs
