What do teachers say about this resource? (11474)

It matches the spec very well choosing its examples from across the set lines. It interprets it in a neutral way which is what is requisite at this level, and is obviously written by a practitioner with an intimate knowledge of the spec’s demands. It would be very helpful for revision and the choice of examples to illustrate particular features of style is spot on. I particularly liked the balance between information and activities. The answers and practice paper were invaluable.

What do teachers say about this resource? (9815)

This resource is catered for the OCR exam board and especially the style questions which carry the most marks in the exam. It is really useful for the style questions that candidates will have to answer on the GCSE paper. Each section is separated between the literary techniques that students will need to know and this is accompanied with activities to help candidates work out how to recognise these techniques in the Latin, a skill necessary for the exam. This resource provides excellent and valuable notes for students and teachers on the expectations of the techniques needed for the more difficult style questions.
