What do teachers say about this resource? (8248)

Well-crafted and planned.

[The resource] demonstrated excellent knowledge of the text and a number of innovative and easy-to-use resources that could be adapted and given to pupils with very little planning and input from teachers.

I really appreciated the range of different activities and how adaptable they were.

The pack contained a series of resources that could be used both to support the teaching of The Tempest but also to review learning to prepare learners for their examination.

The educational value of this resource lies in its accessible and meaningful revision strategies and questions. If pupils completed the different tasks they would definitely be prepared for any examination. The educational value also lies in the significant time and focus given to sample answers and exemplar responses to a range of questions. Helpful annotations allow pupils to measure their own writing against these exemplars and learn how to develop their writing further.

I loved the variety and creativity of this resource. There are so many activities and revision strategies that could be easily applied not just to the study of this text but of any text in general, and I am itching to give some of them a go!

In my opinion, the content is excellent. This is a well structured and engaging exam pack that will be of benefit to teachers and students alike.

The indicative content for sample exam questions page 40-42 provided some excellent discussion points with reference to past productions.

The sample responses on page 59- 72 are brilliant and show a clear breakdown of which sections would achieve which AO points. Excellent commentary, succinct comments and clear reference back to mark scheme.

This is a great resource overall and I can see myself using it. It is clear, concise and to the point.

I would gratefully use this with my students. It provides exactly what they need in the approach to their exams. The author clearly knows the play very well and has provided some excellent and very useful sample answers on various questions. The author also clearly has a thorough grasp of the examination paper, as the sample questions are great and really useful. The exam questions are great, and the indicative content is really useful.

The revision activities are great. I can see myself using those in the classroom on a regular basis in the run-up to the examinations. I LOVE the random exam question generator. Such a simple idea, yet so effective. That is a great resource.

I think this is exactly what my students would need in the run-up to the examinations – it’s clear, concise, and student-friendly. It would also be a real time-saver for the teacher.
