Learning Grids for A Level AQA Physics

A fantastic way to support weaker learners!

Students read their textbooks/notes to complete a grid of questions in exact specification order.

Exemplar completed grids for easy marking and provide revision notes with full specification coverage!

The structured and active learning method helps students understand the key points and build confidence. Includes key skills for practicals and Maths.

Brilliant for students who learn best by doing. Dramatically improves learning for learners in need of additional support; highly motivating.

The answers are comprehensive which will be very helpful for pushing lower level/boundary learners up to the next grade.

What do teachers say about this resource? (8584)

I absolutely love the layout and functionality it offers, especially the way it guides users through specification statements using questions. The placement of questions next to their corresponding answers enhances the learning experience by allowing for immediate verification and reinforcement of knowledge. It provides a powerful and convenient way to engage with the material. Moreover, the resource's inclusion of calculations written out in full is incredibly useful for double-checking work and ensuring accuracy. This feature adds an extra layer of confidence in one's understanding and application of the concepts.
While it may not offer extensive examples or advanced challenges, it serves as a reliable tool for reinforcing core concepts and verifying basic proficiency. The inclusion of numbered references allows for easy cross-referencing and enhances the overall clarity of the material. Additionally, I appreciate the inclusion of uncertainty calculations within the body of questions, which adds a valuable dimension to the resource.
Overall, it is a highly recommended resource for those seeking to solidify their fundamental understanding of the topic. This resource excels in meeting the specifications and provides a reliable and well-referenced framework for learning and understanding the basic subject matter.

The resource is very good and very useful for A level students, especially in their first year of A level Physics study. A very good range questions at a variety of levels have been included and questions and which covers the required AQA specification in Physics in section 3.5 and can be used for all examination boards which assess similar topics of electricity. Good testing of the subject of electricity which tests graphical and experimental ideas.

Good method of giving detailed answers for each question which is very helpful for students and teachers.

Presentation of the resource is very good with suitable images in certain questions including circuit diagrams.

It matches the AQA A Level Physics specification very closely for Section 3.5 on Electricity

An excellent and very useful resource for electricity teaching.

What do teachers say about this resource? (8076)

These learning grids are great for helping students with revision, especially of a larger topic such as the nuclear physics. The answers are comprehensive which will be very helpful for pushing lower level/boundary learners up to the next grade.
This is a good resource for revision and consolidation of a topic. I think students will enjoy the challenge of completing the boxes and they can see direct mapping to the specification points.

I really like this resource as it is very user friendly. It can be used in a number of ways-either when first teaching as a way for checking understanding when working through the specification or as a revision tool once the topic has been taught.
I like the layout, showing the specification references and then the specification has been broken down into questions that covers the requisite understanding of the topic. There are calculations included into the basics necessary to complete the topic.
I like how the specification references are listed down the side, so students can see their progress through the specification and know that they have full coverage.
I think this resource enhances learning by working through the specification points methodically, so students can see what they have completed and what still needs completing. Once complete it also provides an excellent summary document that can be used for revision purposes. Students know that if they have completed the grid then they have covered the specification.
I think this resource is a very valuable resource for students.
