What do teachers say about this resource? (7518)

This resource provides a wealth of very relevant and detailed analysis of the literary work of Dürrenmatt. With this study guide to navigate the play and/or the film, the student has a clear impression of the type of challenges that will be demanded in an AS or A Level writing task [...] This resource also enables the teacher and student to focus immediately on the important elements, such as the reasons for the author’s writing, the main themes and characterisation and the way that such motifs can be inserted relevantly into AS and A Level essays.

Great- clearly laid out with a lot of variety

I particularly like this resource because...
I hadn't read this book since studying it at A-level myself. I was struggling to find good online resources (sadly often the case with German). This resource gave me a good springboard to start planning my lessons. The structures of the chapters really helps me to plan lessons clearly and logically.

There are very few resources on this topic so it's nice to find one that is so thorough.

Pupils responded well to the tasks in the resource. The use of grammar exercises to teach content also went down very well.

The resource is very useful and well-thought-out, in particular the sections on characters/characterisation, the advice on essay writing and the use of class conversation.
