Helpful for students at all grade levels, and most certainly pushes those who are perhaps grade C/B to a safe and secure A... This is a non-exam board specific resource; however ... [it] could be used for any spec, as questions and content are all relevant... Insightful discussion questions, perceptive structural comments [and] apt contextual references... Brilliant resource. A knowledgeable, useful and comprehensive run-through of the novel, targeted very clearly at the various AOs assessed in A Level Literature. It contained a wealth of information, and the breakdown of each chapter gave very detailed and salient points that would clearly be of valuable benefit for either a teacher teaching this text for the first time or a pupil studying the text... The numerous discussion points and research activities likewise offered very accessible ways for pupils to expand and develop their knowledge through a variety of different activities and questions... It clearly targets each of the AOs with focus on different perspectives and relevant contextual information. This would be invaluable for completing either an examination or a coursework task based on the novel... I liked the level of detail: 'comprehensive' is definitely an appropriate adjective to apply to this resource! I could easily pick this resource up and use it to teach the novel with ease without having to do too much extra research.
