What do teachers say about this resource? (7057)

Excellent overall... The summary and analysis of each story are excellent – clearly well-researched and thorough. Good use of quotations to support points with focus on language. Active learning tasks are exactly what A-level students need – a range of activities that would work well with post-16 students, allowing for lots of discussion... Really like the further critical reading suggested and the fact that one key quote is picked out from each here – perfect as a form of differentiation for the less able but also directs the more able towards the value of critical texts in a guided way... The range of content in the pack covers all the things that a student needs to know in order to understand the text thoroughly.

A very thorough and detailed teaching and revision resource which allows for broader independent investigation by teacher and student. Particularly useful is the variation of tasks e.g. debates and research. I think it mirrors the specification well. Love the practice questions and the texts selected. I thought this was an extremely useful resource which would be beneficial to a new A Level teacher as well as to someone who has taught it for years. Well thought-out.
