What do teachers say about this resource? (6512)

A fabulous resource. The high-paced content and the high-level of the analysis ... across all of the assessment objectives makes this a really good study guide for the text.
I like the scene-by-scene analysis, and the way that the analysis is broken down into themes and elements of the different assessment objectives. It's really useful to have specific comments on language and structure, as the students at A Level get so caught up in the meaning and character notes that they frequently overlook the most obvious elements... The active learning, discussion points and essay tasks, enable this resource to be used to guide a group through the study of the text. It ensures pupils are not gifted the answers, but rather told what the information is, and then encouraged to think it through for themselves, and then offers an opportunity for them to be assessed on it.

A detailed, thorough and comprehensive walk-through guide of the play ... clearly targeted towards the different AOs. It would be ideal for a teacher new to the text as a basis for teaching, or for giving to pupils as a structured support guide to the play. I really appreciated the detailed exposition of each scene and the analysis of theme, character and context. It contained so much information and was an excellent basis for study or learning... I particularly appreciated the focus on AO3 – context – as this is an area that pupils often struggle with... The layout was crisp and clear... A one-stop resource for the study of the text. It contains everything that is needed to begin to understand what is a complex piece of theatre and provides enough ideas for further reading in order to promote and develop knowledge of the text.
