I liked this resource because it breaks down the key information the students need to know, in manageable chunks. It explains the key diagrams of the theory of the firm in clear language that students can easily understand.

This resource breaks down complex information that the students need to know in an easy to understand format. Often, textbooks can be overloaded with too much excess information – this resource focuses on the core skills and knowledge.

Overall, this is a very valuable resource to have as a new teacher to A-level economics as it breaks down the core knowledge and skills that the students need to know to succeed in the first exam. It is detailed, well presented and breaks down the core curriculum into manageable and accessible chunks. It has a variety of uses for the classroom teacher, including: being a starter, a revision tool, and a resource to reinforce key course concepts.

This is an excellent resource.

I particularly liked the extras like the ‘quantitative skills’ boxes and ‘further your economic knowledge”. I liked the questions and the glossary too... it is a comprehensive coverage of the specification... and shows links to other areas of the specifications that will follow in later units.

This resource helps students have clear structured notes and is an excellent reference tool for them. It has educational value in that it has review questions and a separate answers section. This allows students to apply their notes to key questions on the topic... Particularly useful for weaker students so that they have clear structured notes. It also has parts teachers can use for class resources e.g. exam style questions... I liked the fact that key terms are highlighted clearly in a box and that "common mistakes" are also highlighted. Another good aspect is the "exam style" questions section which can be very useful because there are separate questions and answers. This can be used for setting as homework or plenary class tasks... The resource matches the AQA specification perfectly, using the correct learning objectives at the start of each section.
