What do teachers say about this resource? (5013)

Probably the best resource I have reviewed. The level of comment and analysis is stretching and also clear, there is a good range of areas covered, including language and structure and plenty of detail. Lots of work has gone into creating a thoughtful, practical resource.

Includes detailed notes and information on the characters, plot and background. The information on structure would be particularly useful to enable students to fulfill the assessment objectives. This resource gives students contextual information that is crucial in helping them to understand the text and also references wider reading.

This is a valuable resource for the AS level AQA A specification. This would enhance the resources departments already have available and would be especially useful to those new to teaching KS5. The resource is clear and accessible to staff and students. It also ensures that students are supported throughout their study of the text and in this first year of KS5. A range of activities are also suggested in the resource which allows teachers to tailor their teaching to the needs of their students. Drama activities are suggested to enhance their understanding of this text as a play. Information on the assessment of this unit is also provided and practice questions. The information is structured well and the tasks are very clear which allows these tasks to be completed with ease in self study periods.
