a valuable resource for teaching SEN
I liked the sound effects! This would be good for the more severe learners and those with visual problems. I also liked the fact that animation was used too. Children with SEN really enjoy presentations with animation.
I enjoyed the quality of the powerpoints presentations, the style of the presentations and the fun, engaging graphics that were used. I also particularly liked the notes and suggestions for activities that were included... Engages and stimulates pupils/learners who can interact with the presentations. And provides teachers with the resources and ideas to enhance the quality of teaching and learning of this topic. Clear differentiated tasks and resources that would enhance the learning of a range of learners with a range of different special educational needs... Would recommend others to consider it.
Excellent. - the research information in conjunction with the powerpoint presentations will save a lot of time preparing / adapting sessions for students - preferable to trawling through multiple web sites as I frequently have to do.
can easily be adapted to suit length of session / project work.
Information + activities runs across milestones experiential + level of engagement for individual students.
Great. Lots of content, and it looks nice too! Using a multi sensory approach is always a bonus. It means the children are more likely to engage with the materials and remember some of the information. It is also good for the staff to use clever technology!
