Provides a comprehensive study of the novel – LOTS of excellent work. Incredibly thorough with lots of detail and some interesting tasks. Particularly liked the analysis section for each chapter and the defining of difficult words... I also like the active reading tasks. PLENTY to fit the new specification. Overall – this is an excellent resource... Please pass on my compliments to the author.

The resource is thorough and logically structured. Hugely comprehensive. There is an engaging series of tasks interspersed throughout the chapter summaries and analysis. Writing a blurb to convince readers to read the novel is one I’ll certainly try. Encouraging a creative approach is a nice way to stimulate engagement with the text.

A useful resource which gives the reader an overview of the key themes and characters, a plot summary and hints for further study. It is well structured and encourages the reader to consider key ideas in their social context. The resource is clear to follow and provides the reader with the appropriate level of challenge at advanced level. I particularly liked the focus on the role of women in society and the historical links as this encourages the reader to delve further into the social context rather than regarding Bronte's novel as a single, isolated work of art.
