On the whole, the resource is effective and suitably replicates the exam format and details associated with the teaching guidance available for the exams from AQA. The questions provided in the sample papers are varied in the content and in the style of questions that are included too helping provide as much experience with questions as possible for students. The mark schemes are clear and thoroughly detailed with the indicative content – which is useful for teachers but also as a reference point for students if a teacher chooses to share them. The indicative content and mark schemes and are detailed and supportive for both teachers and students to be able to access to be able to accurately mark work or consider how to approach answering these questions. feel the resource will enhance learning as it would work as a revision tool that could be issued to students to be able to attempt specific papers or for them to review the mark scheme and indicative content. It would also enhance learning as a teaching resource for teachers to use to guide students through answering exam style questions. The mark schemes also help to enhance learning through very detailed indicative content that could be useful to show students the type of information to include in answers but also to show them that there isn’t always just ‘one right answer'. Having taught this specification since it’s launch, I feel this resource is very well suited to the specification as it emulates the question styles successfully and all of the included mark schemes are suited to the spec. too. The mark schemes make clear links to the Assessment Objectives for the specification throughout so that those links can be understood when awarding marks for each question type too.

Very good questions and many linked to the AQA exam. There is enough questions to provide the students with enough work to prepare for paper one of the exam. A good balance between questions and providing students with the mark scheme for each paper. Everything is relevant to the exam board and criteria.

Well-thought-out and the author has good media knowledge. The mark schemes are detailed and give a range of acceptable responses, especially for the 20 mark questions.

On the whole, this resource met all the criteria set by AQA, as well as all the needs for the specification. The mark scheme, is detailed and matches and clear. I liked the fact that all the questions refer to a range of topics and cover successfully everything that could possibly come up in an exam. Furthermore, the mark scheme was excellent and detailed. I believe that teachers will enjoy this resource as it will support them with workload with a quality resource. Pupils, will cover a range of topics and will feel well-prepared for their GCSEs. There is a range of questions and it covers the majority of the CSPs for that paper. Pupils will be able to practice on all of them and get clear feedback on how to improve due to the detailed mark scheme.
