What do teachers say about this resource? (11798)

Excellent resource. Engagingly structured. An impressive breadth of areas and angles covered! Lots of scope for extension. Key information clearly conveyed, and a fantastic source of insight for both teachers and students. Revision tips - very useful. Great to have both practice questions and model answers. I liked the Top Tips box as well! It was impressive to have questions that linked to other texts... The overarching thinking questions were useful and good to return to. Also focuses the students on key ideas about the novel and its context too. Good wider reading links, and images too.... Questions encourage thoughtful study, closely linked to AOs, and also challenging students to examine new angles and perspectives... Close focus on AOs, and lots of wider critical reading links and also links to other texts - linked fiction is essential, so great to have lots of ideas here. Vocabulary in boxes is also very good for extension - and clearly laid out so students understand and can hopefully embed into own analysis... Excellent resource - very closely linked to the different exam boards... Fantastic - there is a lot of information and insight here! Good to secure teacher subject knowledge as well as a fantastic resource for students. Some great activities and really focused on getting the most from the text, and exploring context.

Filled with detailed and interesting knowledge which would deepen a student’s understanding of the text and its contexts... The wealth of knowledge which fluidly moves between text and context is fantastic and really enables students to understand the vast range of context which influences the production of a text... It also directs students to some fantastic extra reading which would really enhance their understanding.
