What do teachers say about this resource? (11334)

In general, I love the resource, I like the idea of having both theory explanations of translation/linguistics and lots of opportunities for both Foundation and Higher students to practice their translation skills, all in one resource. I like the introductory worked exercise, in which students are shown how to use context to decide which translation to choose when a word in Italian (or in English) has two meanings. I like the fact too that throughout the resource uses the right level language for GCSE and there are lots of key vocabulary from all GCSE topics, with many words taken directly from the AQA vocabulary list.

J Ermina, Teacher & Peer Reviewer

The activities are well divided by topics and are straightforward. I think that students can use this resource independently as it is clear what they need to be doing in each activity. The contents page as it is very clear for students to find the activities. Activities start from basic words and then they build up into sentences. Mark scheme is very time efficient and gives immediate feedback. Good challenge in higher activities.
