What do teachers say about this resource? (11134)

This resource is extremely well-designed. All skills are covered, providing a very thorough study of each aspect of the topic. I can definitely see myself using this resource with my classes.

What is not to like?! Honestly, it’s perfect for teachers short on time. Vocabulary exercises at the start of each unit and the types of exercises provided makes this pack a great tool to teachers new to A Level teaching, as well as more experienced teachers.

The range of tasks provided is amazing. Progressive build-up in difficulty with vocabulary tasks first so students can understand how to use said vocabulary in confidence, then reading and translation. Listening tasks are provided via youtube links that are relevant and up-to-date. The speaking tasks help students develop their research skills for the IRP – I really like this!

I believe this resource matches and interprets the specification really well. It is clear the author has researched the topic and has created a resource that is relevant and engaging.

[Would you buy this resource?] Yes, 100%! So much work has been put into this resource and I can see many ways of using it which would have a positive impact on pupils’ confidence and hopefully attainment!

A pleasure to read through! Well done to the writer!

This looks like an amazing resource to me!

This seems to be an excellent resource to teach the topic of immigration. I particularly love how it has been built, given the opportunity to students to build up vocabulary and knowledge prior the productive task. It covers all the aspects of the immigration issues and would fit well with the teaching of the movie La Haine, for teachers who combine the topic of immigration with the movie analysis.

I love the authentic resources used and how students can research from them in order to build their common knowledge about France.

The way it scaffolds learning, the vocabulary is well displayed and enhance learning, then prepare for the following task. The choice of vocabulary is varied and seems to match the specification, which is important.
