I thought it was excellent, similar to your GCSE ones of the same style which I use a lot. I think it will be very useful for my A level students. I think the sections that you fill in on the spider diagrams are good, I have used similar ones in the past as a revision starter activity and it works well. I like that the answers are provided. I think this resource is particularly useful for weaker learners, it's in a much lesson intimidating format compared to other A level resources available as a lot of the text books are very wordy and have few pictures or diagrams. I feel they will be useful for reviewing a topic or revising it.

A well written, comprehensive revision resource for philosophy of religion, it is accessible, yet still enough information to aid the learning of the more able students. I really like the layout of the student revision pages, it is easy to read, and very clear, concise information. I would be confident that it is accessible enough for my students to aid their revision and complete the activities independently.

What do teachers say about this resource? (11130)

Well written and with just enough detail to act as revision and not overwhelm any pupils who are feeling the weight of the exams. I also liked that the question sheets for each topic were thorough enough to provide good knowledge checks on the topic, which is always useful prior to answering an essay question. I think this is excellent for revision. All of the content needs teaching and recapping prior to these being used - but I would absolutely use these to review material before a mock exam or final.

What do teachers say about this resource? (11129)

I think this is an excellent resource, really useful for students to use as an introduction and/or revision for the topics. I really like the layout and how the arrows link the ideas to eachother, e.g. the parable of the sheep and the goats can be used to justify views about judgement, heaven and hell being eternal and election. I also liked the clear text and felt the illustrations and artwork added to the appeal of the resource to students. The activity sheets are great to use for revision or to complete at the end of a topic, and it is really good to have the answers clearly laid out too. It would certainly enhance independent learning and revision, and would also help teachers of the A level to solidify their subject knowledge. The practice questions and activities are also ideal for home learning.

Excellent; useful, clear, practical and helpful. I like the setting out of topics and the occasional illustration . Also past questions and short quizzes. It is most useful for explanation , consolidation and revision.

Very useful for lockdown catch ups and online learning too. It enhances learning by being clear , specific and spec-aware at all times. Its educational value is its clarity and accuracy . It uses key language and key thinkers to take the student to the A level thinking required. I liked the format and the succinct descriptions of terms and ideas. I liked the essay type questions and the quizzes will prove useful too.
