What do teachers say about this resource? (10054, 10055, 10056)

The resource is absolutely amazing and clearly reflects the 3 components in a methodical manner. The specifications are clearly embedded and the learning aims for each component is evident throughout. The components have been introduced nicely and instructions of how to use the resource is pitched clearly and easy to understand. This is going to be so successful as an invaluable resource for any teacher delivering health and social care. The structure, planning and presentation is what captured my eye with this resource.

The teacher’s introduction set the scene really well. I was impressed with how the mind map components were linked to each of the 3 components. This will save teachers a lot of time with planning as this has been done for them. It clearly shows an immense amount of time and effort which has gone into this resource. The written text is supported with pictures which I found very capturing.

The specifications are clearly reflected throughout this resource. When I was reviewing this resource, I had the full specifications in front of me and I ticked every part. As an experienced teacher and writer of teacher and learning resources, this resource is excellent and will certainly benefit teachers and learners within health and social care. The presentation of information is exemplary. I will certainly be requesting this resource as I am sure other schools and colleges will be doing the same. A fantastic resource and looking forward to seeing the activity pages when this resource is released.

The resource was really engaging for the pupils, they responded well to the information in the document, being able to use this information in preparation for their work and supporting their understanding. The resource is broken down well into key areas, which are able to be used to support pupil knowledge. The use of images and tables is good for pupils to be able to show their understanding. The resource gives a full range of information to the learners, which allows them an opportunity to have a document with all the key information in it, making easier for them to be able to access. The value it places on the pupils is them being able to use the written and printed information to support their learning and knowledge. The use of images, and tables is appealing and helpful .

I found this resource to be a great source of revision, well laid out and easy for students to refer to. [I like...] that there were three stages... Two containing activities and then the final Topic page containing all information, great for reference for assignments. It gives the students a great point of reference and easy to use factsheet. The activities, test their own knowledge. Saves a teacher a lot of time as it is a ready made resource that can be used in a number of ways.

Very useful as an additional revision tool for students. Having this allows them to choose from a range of sources to suit their learning style. It is simple and has a range of levels included - completed and uncompleted sheets to use for revision. Saves time preparing revision resources. I have shown PE and they are keen to look at the resource for their BTEC.

The resource covers the main areas of the whole specification in a clear and concise way... I like that each topic area is on a page, and that it includes the information in a way and that it is accessible for different levels of learners. It is a very flexible resource... information on each map is succinctly written, but can be used either as a starting point for discussion or as a revision tool. These resources save teachers so much time

What do teachers say about this resource? (10055, 10054, 10056)

We really like how the topics are well presented on one page. Easy to summarise topic to students. I particularly like this resource because the content is in depth, provides a good level of information and includes differentiated options too. The differentiated resources are useful to recap topics after knowledge is learned. It is better than other resources because it is clearly displayed and visual learners benefit from the image and key words/phrases.
