What do teachers say about this resource? (6605)

Served me as an excellent foundation to planning a scheme of work for the department. Matched the specification very well - covered everything. There is also a strong emphasis on key vocabulary, something which is certainly important and helps candidates stand out to examiners.

Overall, it is a quality piece of work which combines good Geography with a series of excellent ideas for lessons. They are all tried and tested teaching methods which would take hours to prepare. The lessons are well structured and the examples well chosen. The lesson resources often taken a step-by-step approach which would suit a range of abilities. The explanations are very clear without skating across important details.

A comprehensive scheme of work which is well supported by an overview and a wide range of worksheets which can be easily adapted. This resource will also be useful for geography ‘non-specialists’ who need a well-resourced and easy to follow scheme of work which they can pick stand alone lessons from or use the entire scheme of work... The accompanying scheme of work is a particular strength. The lessons objectives follow the AQA specification closely and the keywords within each learning objective are based upon Bloom’s Taxonomy.

A sound resource with a good variety of different student and teacher led activities including : Clue writing, card sorting, labelling, video clips, writing frames, diagram completion, spider diagram’s, peer reviews, talking heads, and audio bites. Good adherence to the AQA specification and graded levels of differentiation.

A brilliant resource, has made me feel a lot more relaxed about teaching the new specification as this resource covers everything you need for this section. Is ready to start teaching with and even has suggested timings for lessons. It is incredibly easy to use with a scheme of work completed, with resource list and easy to follow lessons plans with objectives and key words.

Very closely linked to the specification and picks out the core elements that are new to the NEW GCSE Specification... Very clearly broken down and easy to link the resources to the parts of the specification.

Very clearly linked to the AQA specification... The range of activities is superb and offer something for different types of learners and students of different abilities... I also really like the fact that there are answers to the activities. I think this is an excellent resource – one of the best I have seen. It is so much better than the questions and activities you get in textbooks.

well structured and researched resource that matched the new specification well. There is a variety of different tasks that will suit a range of abilities and teaching styles... I liked the variety of tasks and use of diagrams and photographs... The resource offers students various ways to identify, learn and consolidate the key physical terms and processes. The explanations of landforms are well sequenced.
