What do teachers say about this resource? (4908)

It is a well researched and very comprehensive guide to the selected stories of Lawrence, which prepares students well for the A Level Lit examination. I particularly liked the excellent commentaries on individual stories and the sections which linked aspects and themes of the stories. Its an excellent resource which encourages close study of the stories themselves in relation to their context and the social, political, psychological influences on the author at the time of writing. The resource encourages background research and detailed consideration of the texts and issues, themes etc. The questions and mini-essays break up requirements and objectives into manageable tasks, which prepare students well for the longer, detailed analysis required for assessment. The sample lesson plans will be of great benefit to teachers.
