What do teachers have to say about this resource? (4903)
"This resource not only aided my students understanding and appreciation, but mine as well. Without it, I dont think I would have had the depth of analysis required for the successful teaching of Frosts poetry. The strength of this resource is that it is specifically written for the LITB1 specification. I liked the passionate analysis of Frosts poetry. You could tell that the author clearly knows and loves Frosts poetry. Overall an excellent resource." A Moffitt, Head of English and Ind. Reviewer
"The resource excellently integrates analysis of the poem's content, form and structure, in great detail, all of which helps students to see how they can do it in their own writing. Within the resource there are other works mentioned, allowing students and teachers to gain a deeper understanding of the poet. For instance, it mentions Faggen's, Robert Frost and the Challenge of Darwin, which also helps students to put Frost into his socio-historic background. The resource also includes Frost's influences and important quotations to help better understand Frost's poetry. The section on 'For the student how to do well in examination' is very comprehensive: it tells students/teachers what is expected of them. It also links the advice to the specification so that students know how to apply what they have learnt to the exam question." K McCord, English Teacher and Ind. Reviewer
