"Thorough is the key word for this resource. It is extremely well thought out and supported at every lesson with appropriate handouts/worksheets that help further learning... I liked the suggestion of specific texts to use with each lesson (eg: Monsters vs Aliens - 21-25 mins into film)... this way first time teachers, or non-subject specialists can use this resources with confidence.The handouts that work alongside the lesson plans hand-hold students so that the teacher can confidently focus on perhaps the more needy in a class with the knowledge that all in the class should be able to complete the tasks with the help sheets.I especially like the lesson-plan layouts. They cover all areas and make for a stress-free series of lessons if followed... it fits with the OCR spec well... an engaging and involving SoW that draw students into the variety of concepts (I love the Mneumonic too) prior to opening up the course to specific areas.
