Pre-order Items

Pre-order resources will either have a single dispatch date or a date range. Where there is a date range:
  • The earlier date is the best-case scenario – the date by which we aim to dispatch the resource to you, if the resource sails through quality and similar checks.
  • The later date is given to indicate the latest date by which you should expect the resource to be dispatched.

These dispatch dates may occasionally be moved back, in which case we will notify you. Conversely, publications are often delivered earlier than the dates shown.

Learning Grids for AS OCR Law (Units G151 & G152)

A brilliant new idea designed to support weaker students. Students have to read their textbook/notes to complete a grid of questions in exact specification order. Cross-referenced to the most popular A Level OCR textbook(s) to ensure a structured reading of the text.

An excellent revision tool or starters for a lesson... Beneficial to lower level learners. A Christie, Law Teacher, Examiner & Independent Reviewer

A godsend for those students who find learning difficult, and motivates the less willing. Leads to active learning, identification of key points and the structuring of information.

  • The structured method of learning grids is of great value to students, especially if they find it difficult to absorb all the information in class.
  • Engaging diagrams break up text and engage visual learners.
  • Fills in the gaps to ensure the whole specification is covered!
  • An easy-to-set, yet valuable homework option
  • Requires minimal preparation and interaction from the teacher great for cover lessons!
  • Results in a comprehensive set of revision notes

What do teachers have to say about this resource? (4406)
"Excellent, the AO1 content is very strong and could be used as an excellent revision tool or starters for a lesson... Beneficial to lower level learners." — A Christie, Law Teacher, Examiner and Independent Reviewer
What do teachers have to say about this resource? (6318)
The resource is very comprehensive... I think the resource is an effective way for students to learn the main cases which are needed for A level law. Students often confuse the facts of the cases so I think the resource will be particularly useful for during revision time. J Whatford, Teacher and Independent Reviewer
I really liked the resource, it is often difficult to think about work to set students at home that will engage them. I like the fact that it differentiates appropriately for differing abilities, students can vary the amount of detail included. The images are also visually appealing to the students. It is a very effective supportive document, as described it is most effective for students to use outside of the classroom. - E Skinner, Teacher and Independent Reviewer
This is a good supplementary resource that can be given to students to complete at home and aid their study in class. I liked the use of images. The structure is also nice and clear. There is not too much information contained on each sheet. This is good for students to work through at home. Students often find just revising difficult, especially weaker students, this give students activities to do rather than just setting revision. - E Skinner, Teacher and Independent Reviewer
Weaker learners, structured textbook reading,
