Very good. Definitely of value in sensitively guiding students through the key poems. A clear impression of Thomas' concerns and methodology emerges from the resource. I especially liked the detailed commentaries on each of the specified OCR poems, which will prove especially valuable to AS students in clearly establishing the relationship between form and content. The literature-based exercises will be useful in promoting independent thought arising from a response to aspects of language; this is developed further in the latter part of the resource, where comparative approaches are considered. The suggested examination questions are very much in keeping with the objectives of the OCR Literature specification and will be appreciated by both teachers and pupils.
