"On the whole I thought the resource was very good. It will be particularly useful for students, and teachers new to the text. The whole text questions are excellent, especially the questions for the different exam boards. Other materials are available for this text, but they do not match this resource for detail or scope." J Coe, English Teacher, Independent Reviewer

What do teachers have to say about this resource? (4187)
"Really excellent. Thorough and well-pitched, brilliant starting point for schools. It is clear which activities are suited to Higher + Foundation. Suits WJEC perfectly." E Evans, English teacher and satisfied customer
"A neat, compact go-to guide. I would be glad to use it." E Evans, English Teacher and Ind. Reviewer
'Well written with good subject knowledge shown. Activities are well cross-referenced to the AOs.'C McDonough, English Teacher, Independent Reviewer
'This resource is excellent in terms of coverage of the text: characters, themes and plot are all covered really well. Things I really liked were the links to the AOs throughout, the Higher/Foundation differentiation table and the variety of activities. I can definitely see that this resource would enhance learning. The activities seem to have been carefully scaffolded to build on the students' increasing knowledge and there is a clear "end goal" of the essay kept in mind throughout too. This clearly links well to the GCSE specifications and there is an especially clear focus on language analysis, which is good as this is often a weak point for students. A well researched and put together resource, the author's expertise and knowledge of the text are clear.'E Gardiner, English Teacher, Independent Reviewer
'On the whole I thought the resource was very good. It will be particularly useful for students, and teachers new to the text. The whole text questions are excellent, particularly as there are questions for the different exam boards that are using the text. Study guides are available free online, but they do not match this resource for detail or scope.' J Coe, English Teacher, Independent Reviewer
