What do teachers have to say about this resource? (3658)
"We used it to practise (D)+(E) skills - very useful! Exercises encourage good skills - eg marking 'wrong' answers and correcting it." —Head of RE, Simon Langton Boys' Grammar School, Customer
What do teachers have to say about this resource? (3426)
"A useful resource with clear summaries of each section of the specification covered in enough detail to ensure that students have all the notes they need to succeed in the final examination... I liked the introduction to Christian beliefs is useful at the beginning of the resource. Some students will not be aware of all of these points and need to be aware of them to fully understand the topics/ concepts that are covered in this unit... Clear guidance on the requirements of the exam and the different types of questions found on the exam... Key words at the beginning of each section are useful especially as students are expected to know these for the part a) questions in the exam... The 'Interested in studying more than one religion?' sections. These will be useful for the e) section questions allowing students to discuss the statements from a range of perspectives even if they have not studied a lot of the religion. These are also useful starting points for G&T students to go away and complete more research on the religion... because this resource is linked so closely to the specification it will enhance the learning of any student who is studying for this exam. It also allows teachers the opportunity to check that all parts of the specification have been covered during lessons and therefore ensuring that students are as fully prepared for the exam as they can be... The author has clearly linked this resource specifically to the specification with all of the units following the exact order as they appear on the specification. Justice, Equality and the Media have all be covered with notes on key ideas, specific Christian teachings and the variety of Christian responses to these key ideas... I would encourage other teachers to purchase this resource." — Teacher of RE & Independent Reviewer
"A good, likeable resource with the potential to enhance teaching and learning and primarily revision of the new spec... Useful revision summaries to support independent revision or structured notes in class... The resource matches and interprets the content and demand of the new specification very well." — A Chapman, Asst Principal & Independent Reviewer
