Pre-order Items

Pre-order resources will either have a single dispatch date or a date range. Where there is a date range:
  • The earlier date is the best-case scenario – the date by which we aim to dispatch the resource to you, if the resource sails through quality and similar checks.
  • The later date is given to indicate the latest date by which you should expect the resource to be dispatched.

These dispatch dates may occasionally be moved back, in which case we will notify you. Conversely, publications are often delivered earlier than the dates shown.

Activities for Today

3rd Edition

Tried and tested purposeful and original activities suitable for residents in residential and nursing care homes. The 3rd edition has been restructured into two parts allowing easier dissemination of information. The first section is all about the home and what the home might offer; the second is activities for residents.
  1. Helps homes meet their mandatory requirement to have a programme of suitable activities for their residents.
  2. Photocopiable resource for easy distribution to all key staff.
  3. Student nurses caring for the residents can use the resource at any time with any resident.
  4. Useful for Care assistants doing NVQ.

"This book will be a joy to have in any home and will be undoubtedly most useful for all involved in finding and arranging activities for the elderly… I can readily recommend this book to all residential and nursing care homes without any hesitation."
Nicky Rowlands SRN

"The 3rd edition has been reviewed to include a wider range of activities and an improved layout to signpost staff through each activity. The 3rd edition also takes into consideration more up-to-date thoughts on caring for residents."
Abigail Kennett RGN, author of 3rd edition
